Understanding SGTD’s need for a reliable and high-performing wireless network, E2E FZE executed a targeted Wi-Fi expansion project to enhance coverage, security, and efficiency across key operational areas. This involved deploying new access points, upgrading existing infrastructure, optimizing network settings, and implementing advanced security measures to ensure seamless connectivity and uninterrupted operations at the terminal.

• New APs Installed: 5 Extension Access Points
• Existing APs Upgraded:
  • Firmware upgrades for 6 access points
  • Optimization & troubleshooting for 13 old access points
• Models Used: Altai A8n(ac) & ST Backhaul

Network Infrastructure

• Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) Base Stations: Deployed to improve wireless backhaul.
• Controller Installation:
  • AltaiGate Controller deployed in High Availability (HA) mode for redundancy.
  • Implemented failover configuration and intelligent auto-channel switching.
