A high-performance Wi-Fi network was deployed for the Gambia Port Authority in Banjul, Gambia, to strengthen connectivity and improve operational efficiency across key port facilities. The project focused on delivering seamless wireless coverage, optimized network infrastructure, and centralized management for enhanced reliability and future scalability.

Access Points (APs):

• Total APs Deployed: 2 A8Ein(ac) units.
• Models: Altai A8Ein(ac), optimized for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

Network Infrastructure:

• Main Base Station (BS):
  • BS located at the HQ Tower.
  • Configuration optimized for seamless port-wide coverage.
• Customer Premises Equipment (CPE):
  • Total: 2 units installed at Old Wharf and New Wharf.
• Altai Gate Controller:
  • Centralized management via the Altai Gate Controller.

Signal Quality:

• 2.4GHz Band: Adequate signal levels for data clients, exceeding the minimum threshold of -76 dBm.
• 5GHz Band: High-performance signal strength for enhanced data rates and reduced interference.
