Overview:

 To ensure high performance, security, and operational efficiency, the Central Bank of Djibouti implemented a state-of-the-art data center designed to support its critical financial operations. The facility was built with a focus on redundancy, reliability, and scalability, enabling seamless operations while accommodating future growth.

Scope of Work:

Data Center Infrastructure

  •  Total racks were deployed with an optimized configuration for airflow, power distribution, and secure equipment housing, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

Cooling Systems

  •  In-row cooling systems were used for precise temperature control, with each unit capable of supporting up to 22 kW of load in extreme conditions. Energy-efficient BLDC-controlled cooling units ensure sustainable operation.

Power Systems

  •  The data center includes a redundant uninterruptible power supply (UPS) architecture for 24/7 availability and managed PDUs with load balancing capabilities. Emergency backup solutions were integrated to ensure zero downtime.

Network Infrastructure

  •  High-speed fiber and copper cabling were used with Fluke-certified testing, and redundant connectivity ensures failover protection and maximum uptime.

Security & Surveillance

  •  Biometric, RFID, and keycard access control systems protect restricted zones, while high-resolution Axis cameras provide real-time surveillance and remote access.

Environmental Monitoring

  •  The RAMOS ULTRA system tracks temperature, humidity, power, and smoke detection, with automated alerts to notify of any abnormal environmental conditions, ensuring proactive management.

Fire Fighting & Safety

  •  The FM200 fire suppression system safeguards sensitive equipment, and advanced fire detection systems with smoke, heat, and gas leak sensors ensure rapid response in case of emergencies.
